Nearly everyone will be a caregiver at some point in their lives, yet the vast majority of people enter a care situation completely unprepared – risking their well-being, finances, and careers to focus on care.

Rather than waiting until a crisis emerges, Wellthy’s Care Planning tool empowers you to plan ahead, stay organized, and feel prepared to give the quality of care your loved ones deserve. You can access:

  • Care Plans, which will answer your biggest questions through comprehensive Paths, action items and educational resources.
  • Care Paths intuitively group action items to help you focus on related to-dos.
  • Action items surface important information and enable you to take notes, upload documents, and access expert-curated content.

When you contact Wellthy, you’re paired with a care coordinator who can help you gather information, understand your options, and make critical decisions. They will help you find the right resources, figure out payment options, arrange in-home support, and more. Their expertise includes:

  • Aging, for families with aging members dealing with all kinds of life changes.
  • Health conditions, for those managing a tough diagnosis or chronic condition.
  • Mental health, for those struggling with depression, anxiety, and other mental and behavioral health concerns.
  • Veteran support, for our heroes and their families to get the care they deserve.
  • Financial support, for assistance with bills, insurance, benefits, and other programs.
  • Neurodiversity and disabilities, for special families with unique and intersectional needs.
  • Childcare and teen support, for parents and caregivers who are raising children and teenagers.

With Wellthy Community, you can grow your support system and get advice from others who have or are currently experiencing similar challenges. You get peer-to-peer discussions, helpful tips and information from Wellthy resources, and expert moderation to guide conversations.

You can invite others to join your Care Project.

Life can be unpredictable, and when regular care plans fall through, it’s stressful for the whole family. Backup care is often a scramble, but Wellthy’s Backup Care is here to help. Wellthy makes it easy to find care when there are disruptions to your family’s coverage. You can rely on their experts to handle the search for backup care options and use our tool to create a backup plan when you need it.

To help support these stressful situations, the Company subsidizes the cost of backup care for children, adult loved ones, and pets, up to certain amounts, depending on the provider you choose. You can either arrange to have Wellthy pay the provider directly (if care is requested at least 24 hours in advance) or you can pay the provider and file a claim for reimbursement:

  • If you use Wellthy network providers, you will pay a $15 copay and the Company will subsidize up to $175 per day. You’re responsible for any amount above $190 (your $15 copay + $175 reimbursement). Wellthy will help you source care from within the network.
  • If you use providers from your personal network, such as friends or neighbors, you will pay a $30 copay and the Company will subsidize up to $125 per day. You’re responsible for any amount above $155 (your $30 copay + $125 reimbursement). Family members are not eligible backup care providers.
  • If you need to secure backup care for your pet, contact Wellthy to be receive a code for a Company subsidy up to $150 per day for Pet Care through Rover. You will pay a $15 copay for this service and will be responsible for any amount above $165 (your $15 copay + $150 reimbursement).

Note: You may be able to leverage a summer camp (or other camp) as backup care for children.

The Company will subsidize up to 10 days of backup care per year, for up to three days in a row.
